Harpist, composer and producer, Floraleda Sacchi is part of a new generation of musicians who go beyond conventions and styles as shown by her shows, albums and her combining of classical music with technology and new media.

She won prizes in 16 competitions (among them, in 2018, a Latin Grammy, “Best Classical Album” category) and appeared as a soloist all over the world: Carnegie Hall-Weill Recital Hall, UN-Palace New York, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Konzerthaus Berlin, Auditorium Binyanei Hauma Jerusalem, Sala Verdi Milan, Prefecture Hall Alti Kyoto, Salle Varese Lyon, Gasteig Munich, etc.

“Ryūichi Sakamoto by Floraleda Sacchi” is a tribute album including 13 tracks for acoustic Harp and Harp with electronics. Selected compositions include music by Sakamoto written from 1970 to 2020, ranging from soundtracks to concert pieces.

For this album Floraleda used the acoustic Harp and the latest arrangements by the composer or the Harp combined with electronics creating personal solutions and referring to the composer’s requests.

The album got already more than half million streams only on Spotify and is available worldwide on all streaming platforms as well in a print version including a 32 pages book + USB key with HD audio.

This project is the first album for Harp dedicated to the music of Ryūichi Sakamoto.
